Ukraine follows its tradition to celebrate EU Sustainable energy week in June each year together with the rest of Europe. This year’s celebrations will take place on June 15-19.
Ukrainian cities will present the best examples of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects across the country and show on practice how to increase both. For the fourth year in a row the EU Delegation to Ukraine, together with its international and Ukrainian partners, invites citizens to attend the EUSEW events in different cities across Ukraine in order to remind once again how to reduce energy consumption in everyday life. Bright outdoor activities promoting energy efficient lifestyle, as well as conferences and experience sharing will be hosted by numerous NGOs, state institutions, business, international organisations and other stakeholders.
“Ukraine’s European Sustainable Energy Week helps citizens to learn more about saving energy and saving money, which goes hand in hand and becomes especially crucial for Ukraine. The event brings together environmental activists, business sector, international community, local and regional authorities – offering an ideal opportunity for networking and awareness raising.”
